Artist: Italian Renaissance painter Lorenzo Lotto

The Portrait of Andrea Odoni is an oil painting accomplished by the Italian master Lorenzo Lotto, around 1527. In 1532, the portrait was mentioned by Marcantonio Michiel, who was Venetian noble belonged a family involved in the service of the State and had interest in art. In 1660, the painting was enlisted in the English royal collection. The portrait has been housed in the Royal Collection of Windsor Castle, London.
In the painting, the man is sitting right next to a table, with holding a statuette and keeping his another hand on his chest. The painting shows the sentimental theme of Lotto’s works. The painting was attributed to Titian and Correggio before finally credited to Italian Renaissance painter Lorenzo Lotto.
